Things we'd like to do

Woo-woo folks: this is your spot to put anything you want that you'd like to do, learn, find, experience, enjoy in Portland. Hopefully we can connect here when we know what others want to be able to do and can share recommendations and resources, etc. Just put your name in bold and the things you want to do beneath it.

Bill:
I'd love advice on, tips about, company for, or suggestions on where to:

  • Find a good, low-cost yoga class
  • Speak and practice my french
  • sewing and basic clothes repair
  • gardening and composting
  • learn and (safely) practice rock climbing without spending an arm and a leg
  • learn and practice archery
  • fencing
  • play boggle
  • play catch
  • play pinball
  • brew beer
  • wine appreciation
  • free painting (basically, just company to spend some no-judgment time doing art, etc.)
Molly E. Murphy:
I'd love advice on, tips about, company for, or suggestions on where to:

  • Enjoy outdoor concerts and plays
  • Create greeting cards to sell
  • Distribute my funemployment book to the masses
  • Entertain in my backyard over spirited, spiritual conversations
  • Kayak all Spring and Summer (and Fall...God-willing!)
  • Meditate outside
  • Pay off Denzel (my filthy station wagon)
  • Play Crazy 8s marathons (the ONLY kind of marathon I'm interested in!)
  • Enjoy numerous trips to the coast
  • Learn InDesign like the back o' my hand.
  • Secure illustration and writing gigs to sustain a kick-ass living whilst inspiring, empowering and invoking compassion in all of my readers!
  • Date a nice man who is a fabulous match for me.
  • Lose 30 lbs. and have fun while doing it.

French Clubs

FYI, y'all, here is a link to many French clubs. I would love to go with you to them, especially ones closer to downtown.

I've been to Crepes et Conversation and enjoyed that.
